‘Best’ flood exercise to be carried out nationwide, says minister

The district-level flood simulation exercise will be carried out throughout the country in preparation for the floods, says Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim. He said it was one of the measures to be taken by the National Disaster Management Agency this year, as a lesson learned from last year's floods. "We will conduct the exercise among district officers. It will specify the tasks and role to be performed by the public in the event of flooding in their areas.
