Terrorism will be focus of G20 summit, says Najib

Terrorism and extremism will be the focus of the G20 summit in the wake of the Paris attacks yesterday, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak during a press conference in Antalya, Turkey. Speaking at the International Media Centre at the Kaya Palazzo Hotel, Najib said the matter was raised by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in their bilateral talks this morning.  According to Najib, Erdogan said the G20 discussions would also centre on the question of violence and how the world could enhance co-operation to combat this serious issue.  After the deadly attacks in Paris which killed 153 people yesterday, Najib said he stated Malaysia's stand to continue co-operating with France and other countries to confront this serious threat. "Malaysia's stand is clear and we condemn any form of violence, more so against innocent civilians," he said.  – Bernama, November 14, 2015.]]>
