Ahmad Bashah says Kedah palace agrees to new exco line-up

The Kedah Council of Regency has given its consent to the new state executive council line-up scheduled to be sworn in on Monday. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah said the proposed line-up was presented to the council at the 240th meeting of the Conference of Rulers in Kuala Lumpur last Wednesday. "The line-up will only be announced on February 22 (Monday), so you have to wait until that day," he told reporters after visiting the fire-ravaged Sekolah Menengah Agama As-Siddiqiah at Padang Kerasak, Naka in Kuala Nerang today.
