Amanah foresees defeat in Sarawak polls

Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) is already looking at defeat even before the announcement of the Sarawak state election which is due by June. Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said today the party would find campaigning difficult because of the need to access rural areas deep in the interior with limited transportation. "Boat trips to the interior can take time, for example, six to seven hours. In a day, we may be able to reach only a few areas. How can we compare with them (Barisan Nasional) who use helicopters?" he said in Kuala Terengganu today. – Bernama, February 18, 2016.]]>
