Appoint Zeti as Tabung Haji chairman, says Rafizi

Many people want Tabung Haji board chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim to be replaced, according to the results of a random poll on social media, PKR lawmaker Rafizi Ramli said today. The Pandan MP also said a majority of the people want outgoing Bank Negara governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz to replace Azeez as the new chairman of the pilgrims fund. "The poll showed that Zeti's image is viewed highly by the people and most want her to be appointed chairman. "I hope (prime minister) Datuk Seri Najib Razak will consider appointing Zeti the new Tabung Haji chairman after she ends her contract as central bank governor at the end of April.
