Dr Mahathir seeks to answer A-G allegations in court

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he did not provide specific answers to some questions asked by the police, which recorded his statement today, as he preferred to answer them in court. The former prime minister said he would defend the allegations posted on his blog post, which raised questions on the credibility of Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali. "The police asked about the A-G article which I wrote but I did not answer specifically because I hope to get a chance to answer them in court when there is a court trial. "Apart from that, I also asked why I was the only one being questioned by police when there were many others talking on the same issue and having the same impression but have not been investigated," he told reporters in Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana, Putrajaya, today. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said today police had to question Dr Mahathir over his blog post on Apandi after several police reports were made against him. – February 24, 2016.]]>
