A man who threatened to blow up the prime minister's residence has been remanded for five days. The 28-year-old suspect was alleged to have posted the statement on his Facebook page on February 4. According to the police's Facebook page, the suspect was detained yesterday to facilitate investigations under Section 130G of the Penal Code. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the suspect was arrested at his home in Parit Buntar, Perak. Prior to this, deputy IGP Datuk Noor Rashid Ibrahim said the police viewed the threat seriously, and that they were tracing the owner of the account to assist with the investigation.
