Strong quake hits Indonesia’s Sumba region

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit Indonesia's Sumba region at 6.02pm today, the Malaysian Meteorological Department said in a statement. It said the epicentre was 184km southeast of Bima, Indonesia and 1,413km southeast of Sarikei, Sarawak. But it did not pose any tsunami threat, the statement added. – Bernama, February 12, 2016.]]>
