Barisan MP feels sad over Dr Mahathir’s moves against Najib

A Barisan Nasional MP from Sarawak, Ahmad Lai Bujang today pleaded with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to stop practicing narrow politics by seeking Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's removal from office. The Sibuti lawmaker said he was touched by the Yang Di Pertuan Agong's speech at the opening of the Dewan Rakyat sitting yesterday which urged lawmakers to avoid narrow politics. "I am touched with the King's decree on how certain bodies and people are involved in narrow politics until the people were also caught in narrow thinking.  "I am sad because the person that is dear to me and whom I love, Tun Dr Mahathir, I plead, just like the King's decree, to stop. It is enough as we are Malaysians and want to live in peace and harmony," he said. He said the former prime minister had often visited his constituency and spoken about unity. "I hope that whatever is happening in the peninsular is not going to be brought to Sabah and Sarawak. Please stop," said Ahmad. He added that the government under the ruling BN has plans to reduce the people's burden and was committed to improve the livelihood of the people in the country. – March 8, 2016. MORE TO COME]]>
