PAC probe into 1MDB not over, but Pua ‘reasonably happy’

The Public Accounts Committee's (PAC) probe into state-owned investor 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) is not over and there is no decision yet if more witnesses will be called, says panel member Tony Pua. "No it's not over, we still haven't done our reports. "We still have to read the book, haven't read yet, haven't finished," the DAP MP told reporters after the PAC meeting today. When asked if more witnesses would be called, Pua said that this would only be decided when the panel completes its study of the report, adding they were not done yet. He declined to comment when asked if PAC had found anything conclusive so far. When asked if he felt the Auditor-General had done a good job in its final report on 1MDB, Pua said: "We are reasonably happy with the report". – March 7, 2016. MORE TO COME]]>
