Penang says fully supports Najib as PM

The Penang Barisan Nasional (BN) today declared its stand to continue supporting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. Its chairman Teng Chang Yeow said Penang BN as well as its youth and women's wings fully supported Najib as prime minister. "Any attempt to oust Najib as the prime minister outside of a general election goes against the principles of democracy which BN upholds," he said. He was speaking to reporters on the last day of Penang BN retreat at a hotel in Cameron Highlands, which began last Friday.
