The Terengganu Umno liaison body today stated its full support to the leadership of party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak and vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Its chairman, Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman also welcomed the statement by suspended deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to remain in Umno and not follow in the footsteps of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who quit Umno recently. "Terengganu Umno would like to stress the importance of all quarters to exercise discipline by voicing one's views and making criticisms via party channels. "Having a different view is god send but if we attack the leader openly, then it becomes a disaster. "At this point, if action has to be taken, we cannot blame other people but ourselves," he said in a statement to Bernama today. Razif urged Umno members to be wary of political enemies and to help the party and country which are under attack from various angles. Members were also urged to support the party via proper channels to ensure Umno and Barisan Nasional remain strong and continue to rule the country.
