Najib extends condolences to families of Ankara bomb attack victims

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has extended his deepest condolences to the families of those killed in the  deadly car bomb attack in Ankara yesterday. Najib said Malaysia strongly condemned the attack which left 28 people dead  and 61 others injured. "I express my deepest condolences to the people of Turkey, especially to the families and victims of the heinous attacks," he said in his official Twitter account tonight. He said there were no reports of Malaysian casualties but the situation will be monitored closely. The prime minister advised Malaysians to contact the Malaysian Embassy in Ankara at for enquiries. According to a Wisma Putra statement yesterday, there were no reports of Malaysian casualties in Wednesday's car bomb attack in Ankara.
