Datuk Seri Najib Razak's achievements during his 40 years in politics and the government has become the pride of the people of Pahang, especially in Pekan. Pahang Tengku Mahkota Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah said Najib's journey from being a MP, to menteri besar of Pahang, to minister, and eventually as prime minister, brings about a sense of nostalgia. "This achievement is very nostalgic for me, because 40 years ago, him (Najib) and I, we did not have white hair, and today, our hair and eyebrows are totally white. "This shows he has been through a lot of experiences. Many ups and downs, but we have to be proud of the many achievements he has made," he said while congratulating Najib.
